WWW: week 7

Life's Journey with a Smile

Postive "picture": MJ's Man in the Mirror. This was on the radio yesterday and when I heard this line I knew I had to post it. "If you want to make the world a better place, take a look at yourself and make a CHANGE" [you can also change better to fitter or the world to your body] Sorry the pics so huge I clicked medium :)
1. What have you done this past week to help you achieve your goals? Days that I ran I did really well, but other days I kind of slacked off.
-ab exercises: 2 days out of 7
-water:7/7
-wash face: 7/7
-take med: 6/7
-stretch: 4/7
-running program: 3/3
-yoga 0/1
- strength train 2/2
-overeat 5/1
-outside: 3 mile long run up on campus, didn't take a pic so I'll have go back tomorrow

2. What goal are you doing best on? Try to talk about the goals you still have left, address whether you’ve completed some, but focus on ones you still have to complete. See above on specifics how each goal is going. I am doing well with water but I haven't been that busy yet. Washing my face is going well because I usually do that during my nightly shower. I think as far as a challenging goal I'm doing best on the running program. I did 3.25miles in 45min this Saturday and during the week I'm playing around with intervals. Half marathon here I come!

What goal do you have to push yourself a little more to complete? What is your plan to do so? The overeating is the one I'm doing the worst on. Sunday I made a ton of food so now I don't have an excuse to eat the badder foods. This week is egg casserole and chicken casserole. Next week may be noodles, rice, and chicken, or pork. I'll really try this week, and hopefully it will carry on. I still have to get the chocolate chips out of my house....before I eat them all.

We’ve talked about who pushes us to do better with our goals – is there anyone/thing that hinders you? Just me. After vacation I let myself get bored and lazy. Which meant I ate badly and didn't exercise. Living alone also makes it easier for me to throw in the towel for a day. That's where blogger buddies come in :)

Fun Question of the Week: Happy Valentine’s Day! Do you have any special plans for the day? It’s okay if you think it’s a Hallmark holiday that you wish to boycott! I think Sweetest Day is a hallmark made up holiday. But Valentine's is fantastic, and lovey, and nice in a dreary winter. I had plans for a Skype dinner date with an on/off guy friend, BUT we both have a TON of work tonight. Maybe later in the week.
