WWW: Week 5

Week Five {January 31, 2011}:

  1. What have you done this past week to help you achieve your goals? ummmm.....close to nothing :( I did drink a ton of water and tried to do active excursions and went to the gym and morning stretches a few times.
  2. January is coming to an end! How do you think you did in the month of January? Review time! I did great the first 4 weeks. Then the vacation hit and everything went out the window. Now I have to get my butt in gear to make February as awesome as January.
  3. Do you feel like your motivation is tapering off now that a month has passed, or are you just as motivated as the beginning of the challenge? Well I took a huge break. So my motivation is back (well back-ish I still have a cold to get rid of so I'm taking things slowly) I also start the official running program next week and I'll be running on the weekends with 4 other people. Since I'm starting a lot of projects and school next week I'm using this week to get the eating and exercise set and then add the other stuff.
  4. Who/what inspires you to keep going? My half marathon is in June so that what the running program is leading up to. Also I gained about 8 lbs on the cruise (it's ok that's the average for all cruise goers) so I need to get back down to pre cruise weight and then work on more. My blogger buddies! I get support when I read other post and feel accountable when I'm not at the computer like "would I want to write a post about this?"
  5. Fun Question of the Week: What is the first thing you think of/do in the morning? Think of: I have to get up now! Do: Brush my teeth. When I was little I would eat breakfast at my babysitters so I would brush my teeth before breakfast and I still do now. It wakes me up, sometimes when I'm just tired during the day I'll brush my teeth for a boost.

  1. I really like your confident, no-guilt perspective. I'm coming out of a break as well and really need to get moving. Thanks for the good attitude about it.
