Hike #4

Sunday was our hike to the top of Sacajawea peak. My aunt and I had a great hike, up to the top then back to the car. My uncle and friend's hike wasn't so wonderful. They were going from one valley to the another but they couldn't ever find a consistent trail and had to turn around and come back. Their hike turned into an 8hr day! But like I said I had an amazing day! My aunt and I waited for the other two, went and got snacks, and walked around the nearby lake.

This is on the road into the trailhead but it's a great view of Sacajawea!
We actually started somewhere about the mid-trees level.
Here's the top of the saddle. Beautiful wildflowers were everywhere.
I made it too the top without crying, dying, or falling!
There was snow but that meant there were also a lot of gorgeous streams.
Fairy Lake!

  1. Wow, that place is absolutely breath taking - why will you ever go home? COngrats on making it to the top without crying, dying, or falling. None of those would have been much fun for you to blog about :-)
