Awesome Job

I got a job! It's only like 12hrs a week but it's someplace everyone would love...the gym! I work and then workout for free! I also have tanning but I've never done that. I won't ever have work as an excuse to skip working out. I've also had an interview for a civil engineering firm. It would be an amazing opportunity, but I have to wait until next week to hear back. I'm glad I have the job at the gym for a week or longer.

So in accordance with my own statement, I must tell you about my first ice cream of the summer. I bought some Lactaid pills from the store. It was a hot day and I'd been craving ice cream for a while. I went to Coldstone Creamery and got the small Milk and Cookies milkshake. OOOOOOHH so good. Creamy, cold, sweet, delicious! but.......The pill didn't work as well as I would've liked. No explosions, but you certainly wouldn't want the treadmill next to mine...hell my housemate would be glad she was gone. If I attempt dairy again I'll double the pills. BUT I don't think I'll get that milkshake again. I ate it in 2 servings, each one was 545 calories. So if you do the math that's one small milkshake was 1090cal! [granted it was at least 24oz] If I splurge on that again I'll get a kiddie kiddie size, and milkshakes just aren't that good if you freeze them and have them the next day.

Blogger question: On my text on the side column, how do I do a strike trough? I didn't see a button. I want to cross out my 215 goal since I'm past that :)

  1. If there is no strike through button, if you can edit in html use this code;
    <*strike>215 Goal
    Note post commoents do not allow such tags so when using for real just delete those * from that tag.

    On my pages when I edit them I have a tab for 'compose' and another for 'Html"... but on the side bar I do not see that feature on the side gadgets and I dont think you can use HTML tags there unfortunately.

    If you insist on having it on the side bar, there work-around I can think of would be to type it out in something like MS Paint, striking out what you want, and save as an image or picture and then adding a gadget to display that picture.

    I am sure the really technical folk out there may have a better solution. Perhaps try the help boards: http://www.google.com/support/blogger/?hl=en
